Hilary HUMPHRIES Obituary

It is sad to see that Hilary has died. Hilary has sung with us in the choir off and on over many years. She was a great help to us when we sang Faure's requium, as she helped the tenors with their pitch and their timing. She sang with us for Handels Messiah, and produced recordings of all the wonderful choruses. She made the recordings available to the choir to enjoy afterwards. I was talking to one of Hilary's friends yesterday from Richmond Fellowship's days, Mark Fieldgate, who sends his deepest sympathy to you all as indeed I also do. Although I didn't know her as well as Mark did, I remember her as a kind and gentle soul and may she rest in peace.

Thinking of you as you farewell Hilary. I remember her at musical things we both attended here in Taupo.

My last contact with Hilary was in Wellington when we lived in Berhampore many decades ago. I am so sorry to hear she has gone.
