MYCROFT, Herbert Joseph (Bert). Passed away in Rotorua on the 24 July 2024, aged 96. Loved husband of Lorna (deceased) and the late Joy. Father and father in law to John, Judith (deceased), Alan, Linda and their partners. Loved Grandad and Great Grandad. We would like send our special thanks to Cantabria staff who spent time caring and nursing dad in his final years. A private service and cremation for Bert has taken place as per his wishes. Our sincere condolences to Bert´s family.
I am the son of Joy Cameron and although we did not get to know him well, I can say he told a good yarn about his aviation experiences. He was a good man and it was sad to hear that he had passed away.
