Dear Pam,
Henry played a huge part in our lives; he was the best man at our wedding 65 years ago, and remained in touch with us ever since. His bright and charismatic personality will remain with us always. Sending our sympathy and love, Margaret Galvin and family xx

Henry you were one of a kind. A very special part of my Ryder family. Our parents (Ernie and Florrie to us) were good friends and my brother, Ian, started school with you at St Joseph's primary school in Levin on the same day. Your friendship with Ian continued during secondary school at Silverstream, then you were best man at Ian's wedding to Celia. We all thought you were a bachelor for life until Pam came into the picture. What a lucky man to have a gem like Pam. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Pam. God bless and rest in peace Henry. Henry and his parents were friends to mine. I remember Henry & his mum at the Levin Hotel. The passing of his brother was such a sad time. Marie played the piano at my wedding. I remember Henry turning up at our family home at Hokio Beach playing the bagpipes. The man was a great entertainer. My condolences Pam from me on behalf of my deceased family Solomon , Terry & Peter Heremaia.

Dear Pam,
So sorry to hear of Henry's passing. It has been a while since the last drink at the champagne turf which was so dear to his heart.
Remember with amusement his visits to NZTR offices over the years as we sorted out his paperwork. Always good for a chat and a story or two.
Apologies for absence as still out of NZ, hope to catch up again somewhere, sometime.
Allahu Akbar!
