Kia ora, just wanted to send my condolences to the whanau, I only met Henry the one time and spoke to him while he was in CCU. We chatted for sometime about a few of his past adventures. What a hunerous and caring soul, it was a pleasure to meet him if only for a fleeting moment. What a different place the world would be if we had more people like Henry. Harry - the closest person to a father for me, providing gentle guidance from my last teenage year to my early forties. Always a laugh and exaggerated story shared, and boating advice and expertise - but most of all the most wonderful grandfather to my daugthers - who could have asked for more - not me, you were perfect - for all of this and very very cherised memories - I thank you. I was there in my heart on Tuesday and Friday. Lovingly remembered always. God Bless You - rest well xx

Grandad you beautiful man. Shorts and a t-shirt and your roman sandals. Walking Vanda along the beach, every person who passes, you are happy to greet. We sailed pieces of driftwood and yachts from the creek to the sea. How could I forget you, you're a part of me. So kind and friendly, I'm ashamed that I have not learnt enough from you our time is too short. I need friends like you, I'd search the world over. Your character, your manner and teling me to listen to my mother. You left me with a great gift that I can never repay you, I hold it dearly in my heart, your unforgettable character.
