Hendrik Kagei Obituary

KAGEI, Hendrik (Henk). Died suddenly at home in Temuka 5 May 2011. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Dien Jochem, Hilda and Hank Overeem, Detha and Steve Edwards, Hans and Jill Kagei and all his nephew and nieces. A heart felt thanks from the family to John, Henk's partner, who has so faithfully and wonderfully supported and cared for Henk during the last months. A funeral service will be held in Temuka Presbyterian Hall on Monday 9thMay. We were sorry to learn of Henk's death. The Brackendel stud has been a huge influence on the Toggenburg breed in New Zealand, and Henk's personal input into the New Zealand Dairy Goat Breeders Association has been invaluable. I think I am right when I say he has served as councillor, classifier and judge. Our thoughts are with you, John, and his family at this time.
