HOOGHIEMSTER, Hendrik (Hank). Passed away on the 28th of October aged 94. Much loved and devoted husband of Valda. Loved father of Debra, Terry-Anne and Erin. Loved Opa of Josina, Loren and Mathew and great grandfather (Opa) of Arya and Ruby. He will be sadly missed by us all. At peace at last. A funeral service will be held in the Garden Chapel of the Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson, Auckland on Monday the 2nd of November at 2.00 p.m.

As a young cousin of Valda was always in awe of this big tall good looking man Valda married It was lovely spend the odd Christmas party at didllabah hall QLD Australia with you. And the occcasional dinner at my place when mum Was alive such good memories. Daniel even remembers Hank that very tall uncle , dan was always Santa Claus, Hank always had a smile for everyone . You are both missed by us all since you left the Sunshine Coast Linda and family and helen and family Much love to Valda and girls He was one of the quieter angels
