Helen RAINEY Obituary

RAINEY, Helen Grace (nee Lubbock). Passed peacefully on Tuesday 15th January 2019 in her 79th year. Loved wife of the late Jim. Daughter of the late Wally and Ellen Lubbock of Pukekohe, sister of Graham, Judy (deceased) Bob (deceased), Marion Bedford (deceased). Special sister in law to Michael Bedford, Jan and Blanche Lubbock and very caring and supportive Aunty to her nieces and nephews, and their children. Nana Helen to Julius, Lucien and Xavier Kite of Raglan, and precious 'udder mudder' to 'her kid' Rosemary for over 60 years. Long time trusted friend of Maureen and Robbie, and caring neighbour of Gaynor. Helen was a lover of life, a most generous and caring person who had a wicked sense of humour and a real presence about her. She will be missed most by those close friends who knew and cared for her. In accordance with Helens wishes a private cremation has been held. There will be a 'Celebration of Helens Life' on Wednesday February 6th (Waitangi Day) commencing at 11am, in the Crown Lynn Room at Brick Lane, Clark Street, New Lynn, followed by lunch and shared hospitality.
