MCMAHON, Helen Margaret. Born 22 October 1968. Passed away at home, peacefully, 24 April 2025, aged 56 years young, surrounded by her loving family Philip, Ethan, and Abby. Helen is already missed terribly by her forever partner, children, grandchild Niko, wider family, and friends. It was a privilege to have known her, always a smile, a laugh and full of love, determined to do what she wanted to do and always kind and generous in her nature. Helen's bedside catch-cry summed her up perfectly "some girls are just born with glitter in their veins." Helen's recent battle was short but in her usual way she gave it everything she had. We all were and are truly blessed to have her on this planet as part of our circle, she will stay firmly in our hearts forever. Our thanks to the good and kind people at Auckland Oncology and Mercy Hospice for their compassion, thoughtfulness, and counselling. A service will be celebrated at Grange Manor Chapel, Davis Funerals, 400 Dominion Road, Mount Eden on Tuesday 29 April at 1:30pm. For those who knew Helen you're most welcome to come along, all Helen asked is come to celebrate and laugh not to mourn, wear something bright. In lieu of flowers, please make donations, only if you can, to Mercy Hospice, Ponsonby, Auckland.
