Helen FRANCES Obituary

FRANCES, Helen. Died 19 December 2024, aged 70. Cherished partner of Sue Foster, bossy and opinionated sister of Geoff and Mary Korver, Margaret and Paul Badger, and Bronwyn Emson. A fun-loving and thoughtful aunty to Anna and Ruth, Mandy, Garth and Claire, and Ngaio. An amazing and inspiring woman who touched the lives of many - articulate, great conversationalist, and a wicked sense of humour. Among her many talents she was a supreme manager, a creative landscape gardener, a beautiful mosaic artist, a wordsmith, and most recently a committed knitter! What she loved most was to be in the bush tramping or on her bike. Her favourite saying was "I've got an idea" which led her friends and family into many an adventure. A celebration of her life will be held in the Waipu Celtic Barn at 1pm on Saturday 28 December, 2024. A Graceful Undertaking 09 988 9502

My thoughts are with you Sue, and Helen's family. I have many treasured memories of time spent with Helen at work and on wild walking adventures. She was so creative, active and such an intelligent person I was always impressed in her company. You will be missed Helen.
