Adopted daughter of Margaret and Laurie Bleaken, Hamilton (deceased). Greatly loved Nana of Jasmine Liang, Auckland. "The most wonderful Granddaughter, who brought her so much happiness and love". Loved Sister of Anne Leigh- James, Thames. Mother of Andrew and Christopher Bell, Auckland. Stepmother of Alex Thompson, Christchurch. Finally at peace from the feelings of loss, grief and identity confusion, that many adopted people feel. "They say blood is thicker than water, but then those that matter tell you it means nothing". Heather has already been cremated as was her wish.
