Heather GARRETT Obituary

GARRETT, Heather Elizabeth (née McDonald). 4 September 1932 - 23 December 2025 Heather passed away peacefully at Waikato Hospital on Tuesday the 23rd of December 2025, in her 94th year. Loved wife of the late Les and mother and mother-in-law of Kirsty and Adam and Vic and Kirsty. Proud Nana of Marnie, Chelsea, Joe, Coinneach, Freya and Tom, and great- grandmother of Mia and Judah. Loved sister to Iona and Neil and her late siblings Ailsa, Allison, Ross, Ian and Isabelle. A private family service has been held. A celebration of Heather's life will be held on Saturday the 10th of January from 1 pm at Heather's home. Sorry to see that Heather has passed, and Les whose passing I missed. Many fond memories of their hospitality, their magnificent homestead, and the collection of firearms and motorcycles so freely available to visitors to view. R.I.P.

GARRETT, Heather (nee McDonald). Aged 93. Passed away 23 December 2025 peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Les. Daughter to Kirsty and son Vic. Dear sister-in-law to Sylvia Stringer-Motion (nee Garrett). Beloved aunt to Dianne, Barry and the late Les. Loved Aunt to Garrett family Nick, the late Martin, Simon, Sarah-Jane, Liz, Geoff, Tony and Mike, Linley, the late Pete, and Doug, and their families. Gone but not forgotten.
