Sorry to read of the passing our our friend, Heather Clendon. Heather was a much valued member of U3A Nelson, and a long-standing Committee member, who produced our Newsletter for a number of years.
When Heather was well enough, she was a very active member of her Study Groups, and there will be many U3A friends who will miss her very much.
Lost to us all, but at peace now with her Tom
Sincerely
Wendy Cornish - President, U3A Nelson

A dear friend of 50+ years has gone too soon. Many happy memories of the holidays Clive and I had with you and Tom, in our NAC and AirNZ days.. Our children grew up and went through school together also . May you be at peace Heather.

My sympathy to you all on Heather's death.
I enjoyed her company at the U3A bookgroup when I came to Nelson and Summerset 5 years ago, and our many conversations. In recent times since Tom died we have enjoyed contact and I was always sad to see such an intelligent woman try so hard to remember.
She was always cheerful even so recently. Sympathy also to Irene.
