JOHNSON, Hazel. Peacefully on Friday 11 Nov 2011 at home in Kawerau surrounded by her family. Aged 79 years. Much loved wife and soulmate of Roy for 57 years. Treasured mother and mother in law of the late Gavin and Moana (Mamaku), Leanne and Mike (Queenstown). Cherished Nana of James (Hemi) and Bonnijoi, Ma J to Victor and Holly, and great Nana of Seth, Rayden, Cruiz, Taine, Paris and Vienna. Loved sister of Pearl (twin), Meg and Jan, and of the late Jack, Stan, Frank, Les, Elsie and Doreen, all of the UK. A celebration of Hazel's life will be held at the chapel of Brent Willets Funeral Services, 21 King St, Whakatane on Wednesday the 16th Nov at 11am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Hospice, PO Box 275, Whakatane or may be left at the service.
