Hazel CROSSLEY Obituary

CROSSLEY, Hazel Muriel Pearl (nee Muir). Formerly of Wellington. Peacefully on the 4th of January, 2024 at the Murray Halberg Rest Home, Lynfield, aged 95 years. Much loved wife of the late Keith. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Joyce and John Blair. Respected stepmother of Linda, Annie, and Mark. Loved cousin of Garry and the late Betti Muir, and their family. Special friend and neighbour of Wendy and Ken Kirifi, and their family. Close friend of Tui Hei Hei. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Malachy's Catholic Church, 461 Swanson Road, Swanson, on Monday 15th of January at 11am, followed by burial at Swanson Cemetery.

Hazel was a dear friend to us after reaching out to us during our breast screening petition campaign in 2003. She was an avid supporter of many charities and we were very proud to know her. We visited Hazel in Swanson Road and enjoyed many a phone call with her. We miss her chats.
