Harry STANLEY Obituary

STANLEY, Harry Winston. With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Harry Winston Stanley, who left us on 16 August 2024, at North Shore Hospital, Auckland. Born on 18 February 1959 in Tokoroa, Harry was a cherished son of Joseph and Nancy, and the former husband of Teri. He was the devoted father of Tatau, Ali, Joe, Lauren, and Kobe; a loving grandpa to Jade, Solomon, Kevin, Jerome, Codie, Ziana, Luka, and Tama'ali'i and great-grandpa to Aiko and Taimana. Harry was also a beloved brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and friend. Harry's sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in our lives, yet his memory continues to shine brightly in our hearts. He was truly one of a kind, known for his boundless generosity and the extraordinary lengths he would go to help others. Our love for him is immeasurable, and our longing for him deepens with each passing day. A memorial service to honour Harry's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on 22 August 2024 at North Shore Memorial Park, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, where he will be laid to rest in eternal peace.

Harry was 4 years older than me. I looked up to all my older brothers as icons and heroes. Harry was exactly that. Loved his spirit his enthusiasm for living for fun and friendships. His thoughtfulness for others and his acts of kindness were beyond expectation. Cherished always and a legacy to live by. We have a 9 month old grandson named Harrison who is a salute to you brother. We will let him know all about his great uncle Harry one day
