HAMILTON, Harry Frederick Batton (Pete) Born 21 March 1930. Passed away on 3 October 2014. Passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. Dot's beloved husband and best friend of 59 years. He was the best father in the world and so dearly loved by his four daughters and sons-in-law, Jo and Colin, Jac and Pat, Kim and Mark, and Carey and Paul. Loved 'Pa Pete' of Stephanie, Lissa and Michael, Nick and Irena, Natalie and Mark, Jade and Mike, Jacinthe and Po, Chantal, Jake, Adam, Henare and Louis and great-grandfather to Shannon, Louie, Turner, Gabriel, Daniel, Josh, Charlotte, Vincent and Rose. He will be missed forever, so loved and respected, a great role model and a good bloke. Setting sail on his final journey. A service will be held at the North Shore Memorial Park, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany at 2.30pm on Friday 10th October followed by afternoon tea.

Dad you meant so much to us and did so much for us, always practical and insightful, you could turn your hand and your head to anything. We will miss you forever, something big is gone. "When they built you, Dad they turned dust into gold, when they built you Dad they broke the mold." Breathe easy now. xx

Dad, you have been my rock and I will miss you terribly. Thank you for being such a wonderful and loving man; generous with your heart and your hands, kind and wise always. Time to weigh anchor for the big fishing ground. All our love Carey, Paul, Henare and Louis.
