O'ROURKE, Harry MNZM On 21st March 2016 at Auckland City Hospital, aged 74 years. Cherished husband of Jacqueline. Beloved son of May and the late John. Son-in-law of Edith and Dudley Trew. Much loved father of David; Brendon and Greg; Justine and Gordon; Victoria and Frederic. Adored Poppa to Holly, Charlotte, Blaise, Melanie, Maria, Mackenzie and Maisie and Great Poppa to Cody, Isla, Harriet, Maeve and Lillian. Loved brother of Nancy and the late Jim, Jack and Lesley, Margaret, Patricia and Bob, and Mary including their children and grandchildren. A service for Harry will be held at St Mary's Catholic Church, 10 Kitenui Avenue, Mount Albert on Tuesday 29th March at 11.30am followed by burial at North Shore Memorial Park, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Auckland. In lieu of flowers donations to the Fred Hollows Foundation, Private Bag 99909, Newmarket Auckland 1149, www.hollows.org.nz, would be greatly appreciated. So sorry to hear of Harry's passing. As a child I used to love to see him walking up our drive at Mairangi Bay. He was such a handsome young man and full of fun.
