HOHAIA-MCIVER, Harai (Josie) Passed away peacefully 20th August 2014 at North Shore Hospital surrounded by the love of her whanau, at the age of 81. Beloved sister of Te Urumingi. Treasured mother of Ihaka (deceased), Chrushanan, Robin, Kenneth, Aroha, Latavinia (Lily), Janita, Pakaurangi, Eunice, Dickson, and Lois. Much loved kuia and matriarch to her many mokopuna. Kuia of Hoani Waititi Marae, Kohanga Reo and Waipareira. Haere i te haere o ou Tupuna. Harai is departing the Hoani Waititi Marae today (Friday 22nd August) at 11am, heading for Tapui Marae, Matauri Bay.
