Hannah JOSEPHSON Obituary

JOSEPHSON, Hannah Louise. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Hannah, aged 35. Beloved daughter of Victoria and her husband David, DJ and his wife Jess, sister to Samantha, Laura, Rachael, Izzy and Flynn, loving aunt to Cyrus, Ryder, Ayla and Dylan, and friend to many. Hannah battled cancer from a young age, facing every challenge with a fierce determination, living her life independently and her way, embracing many community activities with a happy smile, and a kind heart. An inspiration to all she met, Hannah's beautiful spirit and our memories will live on forever. A funeral service will be held at 2pm on Thursday the 19th June 2025, at The North Shore Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany. Donations in lieu of flowers to Harbour Hospice. Please feel free to dress in keeping with Hannah's love of colour. Hannah has a wonderful spirit. I recall being friends with her at Murrays Bay Primary and she was the force that brought the group together in the first place. It was my first ever true group of friends and I believe it was because of her positive and easy going style, the group came togehter - Sophie, Elle, Lee, Keiran, Cameron and there were a few others. I also remember a teacher saying on our final year in school, that class of 2000 was a really special group. She said we stood out in terms of maturity and kindness. I also think Hannah was a big part of this.

I have very fond memories, even if they're from the formative years of my life - I'll remember them forever.

I taught Hannah way back in 1998 and 1999, and had kept in touch at times in the years since just through Christmas emails. My deepest condolences to Hannah's family and friends. She was a bright light and extremely compassionate as a young primary student at Murrays Bay, and definitely continued her positive, kind and gentle nature. I am truly saddened to hear of her passing, and forever remember her as a tremendously kind and caring person. God bless. ---Tim Westover, from Ottawa, Canada.

I remember Hannah and her Teacher Aid Irene at MBIS well. I can still see them clearly in my mind all those years ago. I would often stop and have a chat and over the years whenever I saw Irene, I would ask after Hannah. Hannah always had a big smile and was happy to chat. What a special and brave person x Vanessa ( Miss Opera - MBIS)

Hannah was an ex-pupil of Murrays Bay Intermediate School. We remember her well, as a gentle young lady with a quiet and calm presence.
