Gwen MARTIN Obituary

MARTIN, Gwen. Peacefully on 10 November, 2012 surrounded by family at Amberlea Rest Home. In her 100th year. Loved wife of the late Reg. Much loved mother of Gary and Grant; and Robyn and Willis. Much loved and special nana to David, Daniel, and Richard; Sharon, Colin, and Peter. Great-nana to Edward, Elliott, James, Ethan and Loren; Arco, Kaisha, and Shavhan, Cameron, and Fraser. "Forever in our hearts". A Service to celebrate Gwen's life will be held at Wellsford Co-operating Parish, Rodney Street, Wellsford on Wednesday 14 November at 11am, followed by private cremation.

"Nana Martin" will be remembered for many things, in particular her loyal friendship with our family over many years. I remember her homemade apple pies, her driving down the main street of Wellsford, still life paintings, quick wit, strong but gentle manner and friendship over many years. We will miss you Nana.
