BARKER, Gwen Loving wife of the late Stuart Barker. Passed away 7th December, 2014 suddenly and peacefully with her most loving and loyal companion Norman Woods at her side. Loving mother of Francis, Wendy and Theona. Loving Nanny of Eli, Bronson, Tahiwi, Warihi and Pania and great Nanny of 14. Whatever fate our souls await let us be there with you. Loved and remembered always. A celebration of Gwen's life will be held in the Chapel of Christ The King, Selwyn Village, 43 Target Street, Point Chevalier on Monday 15th December, 2014 at 12 noon, the funeral then leaving for the St. Peters In The Forest Cemetery, Bombay. All communications to the Barker family C/- Morrison Funeral Home, 220 Universal Drive, Henderson Auckland 0610.

Mum, I love you "really, truly big". I know you always did your best for everyone. I will miss you so much, especially singing silly songs you made up while you played the piano when we were together. Every time I hear "remembrance" that you loved to play or for me, "black and white rag" or "flight of the bumblebee" know I am thinking of you and all our other favourite songs.
