Guy named Diddy, my cat, Diddy Whoppies. It was an awesome name for an awesome cat. Diddy raised a number of kittens as well as a duck and a chicken. Choosy, the chicken, grew to have chickens of her own. She had no fear of any of our cats and would march inside to send them flying with a few well placed pecks - except for Diddy who she loved dearly and would lie down next to, stretched out like a cat.

Guy was a good friend when we were lads but our lives took different directions after my family moved out west to Taupaki. I very much enjoyed catching up with Guy at my mother's memorial service in Takapuna in 2005. It's very sad to think that the opportunity to do so again has now passed.

Condolences to Jane, Simon and all of Guy's family.

My thoughts are with Sue and all family members.I have not seen Guy for a number of years but remember a thoroughly nice young man with a ,great sense of fun and a great sense of humour,thinking of you,all take special care.
