Guy HARKNESS Obituary

I recently visited Auckland for the first time and bought a beautiful art piece in Ponsoby, "Whites Beach" and I have just hung it up in my home. I wanted to see more of this artists work and am so sorry to read of Guys passing. His paintings are beautiful, my deepests condolonces to the family. I am so glad to have one of his stunning artworks, that transmit a lovely serenity and peace, what an extraordinary talent.

I worked closely with Guy at Colenso for about a year, when he made the move into creative. He became my copywriter. Technically, he was more senior than me - he´d come from account service and was already extremely well regarded and accomplished. But he wanted to be a creative, and he was willing to start from the bottom... with me.
This was back in 1995.
Guy was such a lovely man - so honest, so caring.
I will miss him deeply.

So sorry to hear of Guy´s passing. I had the pleasure of working with him at Dashwood Design many years ago. He was kind, incredibly talented and always full of creativity. His love for his family - especially the girls - was so clear. Sending much love to you all during this time. x
