Hi Pat, I couldn't be there today but mum has come down for our family.

Guy was one heck of a person - his belief in me helped make me the person I have become today. I told Guy this a few times and he made light of it, in typical Guy fashion... his innate wisdom and funny cryptic ways of saying very meaningful things will be sorely missed by me and many I am certain.

A quote from Guy "Read the book" I still have the book Guy and will always 'read the book' I promise you. xxx

Sincere confidences Pat, Shelley and family.
I enjoyed many amusing conversations with Guy, and he was most kind to me when my Dad died. We had great fun in the early Feilding Promotion days, especially at a certain public meeting. Guy always had good ideas to offer, and a quick wit, making him such good company.

Dear Pat - very sad news received this week - sincere condolences to you and family. As you know Guy was a father figure to me and many others who gained from his friendship, wisdom, humour, insight and positive nature.

My son Theo will be a constant reminder of a true Kiwi legend.

Kind regards

Guy was such a character. He had a way of leaving his mark on everyone he met. I was lucky enough to work alongside Guy for a few years and there sure are a lot of memories. From his grapes and cheese lunches to helping him through his countless emails and phone messages. Thank you for the life lessons Guy. I will miss your sense of humour and antics. All our love - Lian, Darryl and Max

We remember the irrepressible Guy and the good times we had in the past. How he helped us into buying a house when we had little money.

His help enabled us to get onto the property ladder. Lots' of fun and never a dull moment with Guy. Looking forward to future times.
