Guru and family, taught me all I know about farming, in my youth spending school holidays riding horses, feeding cattle, helping out in the shearing sheds, I made the very best friendship with you all. Guru was always welcoming and an inspiration, rounding up cattle on horseback armed with pitch fork hehe my fondest memories and I think of those days often with a strong urge to return to the farm, to again see Amrit and Jo, meet up and share our stories .... thank you so much I really do miss you all.
Sincerely, Rowena Matthews.

A great stalwart to Waikato Rugby. Always had time for a chat or giving advice from his experience.
Thanks for the time he gave to me and others
