I didn't know you, but from what I've seen, you put your heart and soul into everything you did. My heart goes out to your wife and girls.

New Zealand and the entire Legal fraternity has lost a great man and colleague... Rest in Peace Greg and may you find what you are looking for in the court rooms in the heavens.

In every conversation with Greg he was supportive, hilarious, inspirational, positive in one way or another (and often all of the above). So many special memories during our little time together that I'll cherish forever. Catherine, I am praying for you and the girls in this time of great sadness. Kia kaha, my dear...

My heartfelt condolences and Deepest Sympathy to Greg's wife, young daughters, Parents, family ,friends and colleagues at this very sad time. I didnt know Greg personally but thought he was a very clever man, passionate about his work. I happened to be at the High Court in Wellington back in August for another matter, and was sitting outside the Court as TV1 news reporter Simon Bradwell was about to do his story on the juror from the Macdonald trial speaking out. Greg and him were sharing a joke and he looked so well and alive, and happy, so to hear of his sudden death on Saturday is a real shock. He will be missed by all of New Zealand. A good man gone too soon. RIP Greg King and Kia Kaha to your family.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

I only knew Greg through the media's portrayal of his work & deeds. Even so, I'm genuinely gutted at the loss to all humanity - a measure of the man's circle of influence. Love to his family. Peace to Greg.
