KERR, Gregory Arthur. Peacefully at home on Saturday 10 April after a slow decline from dementia. Devoted husband to Yvonne, adored father of Venetia and Cordelia, loved brother of Barry, Noel and the six who went before them, fond uncle to many and valued friend to more. Greg died in his wife's arms, free of pain, being reminded how much he was loved. He will be remembered as kind and caring with a cheeky grin and passions for sailing, wine, AFL (go Bombers!) and music, especially jazz. He loved a chat, and always had a fun story to share. A service for Greg will be held at North Shore Memorial Park Chapel, 235 Schnapper Rock Rd, on Tuesday 20th April at 1pm followed by private cremation. Refreshments will be served at the conclusion of the service. Yvonne and the girls would like to thank her sister Cherry, Anne Maree Court, Briargate, and Dean from Vision West for supporting her in caring for Greg. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to Dementia Auckland.
