Gregory KAY Obituary

KAY, Gregory Wilson. Passed away suddenly in Nepal on 27th April 2015 aged 61 years. He was where he wanted to be at that time. Loved and cherished best friend, soul mate and husband of Sudy. Much loved father and father-in-law of Nick and Lu, Ben and Vanessa. Adored grandfather of Madison Emilia and our two babies he was waiting for so eagerly. Devoted son of Jill and the late Colin. Much loved and admired brother and brother-in-law of Geoff and Joan-Marie and Tim and Sally. Loved uncle of Anthony (London), Rebecca and Anna. We will treasure our memories of the wonderful times we had together; a kind and generous man. Greg will be remembered in the hearts and souls of his loved ones. A memorial service will be held in the Great Hall, King's College, Golf Road, Otahuhu on Tuesday 5th May at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to Youthline.

My deep condolences for the very sad passing of Greg. I have had the pleasure of working as an Strategic Advisor from LEK Consulting with Greg over many years at Coal Corp, Wrightson, and Pacific Road. Greg was an outstanding executive, highly intelligent, a true team player and a loyal business friend. He will be sadly missed by his family and also the the broader business community both in NZ and Australia. My thoughts are with Sudy and the Kay Family on this sad occasion. Colin J. Smith

Greg was a very caring and honest man. He was funny, serious and a true family man. The shock of his death I will get over, the memories I have however, will last forever - RIP Greg - Caro Richards
