Greg, Dear family you have a wonderful son brother uncle father and friend I'm so sorry for your sudden loss of Greg, I hope you rest peacefully Greg. You have still left us with a message about mental illness and depression a face we know i hope will lead to your viewers Greg question themselves in times of crisis to ask for help and to keep asking until they receive the care they need. Its no consolation to losing someone, but if he could have helped someone now I'm sure Greg would be all in. Thank you for coming into living rooms kitchens and radios an all-out kiwi bloke.

I think you were like the big brother, and even if you weren't known, it felt like you were because your presence, your being shone so brightly. Greg and I were in a band together for a few years, I sang and he played drums. He was a good person and he loved his little daughter, she was 3, at the time, such a sweetheart. Is it normal to think that our journalists and presenters on tv and in the public are immune to pressure, stress and depression ? and the daily grind of life ?

Greg your death has absolutely rocked my world... I cannot even start to express the weight of sorrow that sits in my heart for YOU and your family and what the nation is going through since you have gone.
