Greg WHITTAKER Obituary

I have been saddened to hear of Greg's passing. I haven't seen him for a long time but have bumped into his parents or Dale once or twice over the years, to hear what he has been up to. We spent a lot of time together growing up . When going to school at Waitara East and then Boys high. Swimming club, going to the beach in his grand dads Vangaurd, a lot of good memories. Our condolences go out to Greg's family, from the Doorbar family.

So sorry to hear of Gregs passing. I distinctly remember going for a drive with him with the top of his MG down when I was a child - amazing. He will be missed.

I was very sad to hear of Gregs passing, so many memories of our boys together growing up. My thoughts are with the family.

Simon Carstens here. My dear friend came to see me not so long ago, Im so saddened. Greg was a big part of my childhood he was so cool, with his love of cars and Im sure he was the first white guy with dreadlocks I ever seen. I will miss him. Love to the family.

I was saddened to learn of Greg's passing. Greg was a good friend of my brother Alan, and that is how I got to know him. I remember some great times we shared back in the day back in Waitara: The vintage car rally in and around Hamilton, the girl from Pirongia who we both shared a schoolboy crush on, and many more memories.
