Dear Caroline, James, Kate and Grace, the understated kindness you all provided to Anne Wynette and David during Davids illness when you housed them so unselfishly will always be remembered. Greg was a huge part of supporting them for which I am greatfully, that was a significant part in Davids treatment being successful. I recall Greg picking me up one day when visiting, on my thinking him for his help, Greg said, 'that's what you do for family' you are all continually in my thoughts.

We were blessed to know dear Greg for many years in his youth and we are greatly saddened by his sudden death. He was loved by all who knew him especially his adoring family. I met Greg when we worked together in London England in the 1970s. After we quit our jobs we spent three months together hitchhiking around the UK and Ireland. I always found Greg to be easy going, kind, and considerate. I wish strength for Caroline and their children during this difficult time. Greg was a wonderful human being.

We knew Greg as for some years we came and got our wood from him at the orchard.
He was always full of good cheer and a story and we looked forward to the annual winter catch ups with him.
A really nice guy and a shock to hear of his passing doing something we know he loved to do.
The last of the apples and persimmons that came with the wood will taste extra sweet.

Sympathy to the family on the sudden loss of a good man.

Greg ALWAYS had time to chat when ever we met in the orchards or when he was splitting logs.He helped us settle into Oratia and willingly shared his horticultural knowledge. It will leave a massive space in our community in Shaw Road.Our children loved and respected Greg too and our hearts go out to all those in his family as well as long time friends. What an enormous shock for everyone.

Glucina Greg. A loved and respected cousin and nephew of the Kostanich family. We have many fond memories of times spent together in Oratia.
