To Dee and family
I was relieving at Tamaki Intermediate in 1962 and my classroom was next door to the art room where Greer was teaching. He was the very first staff member who popped in to welcome me. I will always appreciate his thoughtfulness. It was also the year when you two became engaged. Happy Memories and kind thoughts to you and your family.

Our warm love and prayers are with Deirdre and family. Greer takes me back to Auckland Grammar in the 50s with the small group joining in art music
and drama in that macho environment. Then SCM days . And taking their wedding! Till recently Greer's gift that day of one of his first pottery fruit bowls had pride of place and regular use by us all. Thanks for early memories.
Yes Judy and I survive well in our 90th years, now with 4 generations up north on the Tutukaka Coast. Arohanui

My loving sympathy to all the whanau.
I was an Elam student from 1969 t0 1972. While there I did an etching of Greer as part of a series of portraits of Elam friends and staff.
Such a generous clever man.
Sadly missed by us all.

Twiss, Greer. We remember you working with dad at Elam, wonderful times at Rawhiti and noisy dinner parties. You are part of our whānau and will be missed. You live on through your whānau and your sculptures. Moe mai, moe mai, moe mai rā. From the Robert and Elizabeth Ellis and Mountain whānau.
