Grant JORDAN Obituary

JORDAN, Grant Edward Paget. Passed away suddenly and peacefully surrounded by his family at home after a battle with cancer on Monday 22nd May 2023, aged 58 years young. Wonderful and much loved husband of Wendy, precious and loving Dad of Emma and Bryce, Olivia and Karl and amazing brother, uncle and mate to many. A Service for Grant will be held at Rosenvale, 363 Parklands Road, Te Awamutu on Tuesday, 30th May at 12noon. All communications to the Jordan family, P O Box 137, Te Awamutu 3840. Hello Wendy, Emma and Olivia,
I was saddened to hear that Grant had passed away on Monday last week. However it was wonderful to get to his funeral today, and to hear what a marvellous man he was, clearly highly regarded and loved by so many.
It was gut-wrenching to meet him again last July, only for him to be diagnosed with a much more aggressive and nasty lymphoma this time. I know Natalia and the team at Waikato Hospital Haematology Dept. tried their very best for Grant, but it wasn't to be. I can only reflect on when he was treated the first time around, and am so thankful for the years that he had to see the girls grow up and share precious family times with you all. Being in the cast of Oklahoma has meant I have heard several inspiring stories about Grant recently - you should be very proud of the man that he was, and all that he did for others.
