Grant DOUGLAS Obituary

DOUGLAS, Grant Maxwell. Passed away at North Shore Hospital on 12 July 2014, in his 60th year. Loved special son of Maureen and the late Bruce. Loved brother of Mark, Todd, Catherine and the late John. At Peace Special thanks to Spectrum Care, particularly the Staff of Bruce Mclaren House, for their compassionate care of Grant. A Service for Grant will be held at St Aidan's Anglican Church, Remuera, on Wednesday 16 July, at 2.30pm.

DOUGLAS, Grant Maxwell. Loved Brother of Mark. Brother in law of Sandra. Uncle to Emily and James. You taught us to enjoy the simple things in life. To laugh at ourselves. And to understand the importance of family. Thank you to the dedicated professional staff at North Shore Hospital HDU for your care in his final days. And to all the staff at the IHC and Spectrum Care who have made his life fantastic. We will miss him dearly. Rest in Peace Grant.

DOUGLAS, Grant Maxwell. Much loved big brother who touched me in his own special way. My one special memory of you was the day we went fishing. The excitement and joy you showed every time you caught a fish which that day turned out to be quite a few. The smile on your face will always remain in my mind and heart. Love you always, Catherine and Megan.
