I was watching Hercules and watched some of Grant´s work. He was so talented and I was searching to see his other project and discovered he had passed. So sorry for the loss and so thankful he shared his talent with us. From Philadelphia, PA, United States.

Grant and I played music together. I am so sad. The world has lost the sweetest man who ever lived. Bloody talented too.

My sis and I were privileged to be his friend in our university days, when he would go to auditions of some sort. We didn't know then how successful he was going to be! He's performing in Heaven now, we're looking forward to seeing him there!

Grant directed me in the role of Malvolio in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, on Waiheke. Others criticised him for "micro diecting" me however I was a novice actor and therefore a "sponge" for absorbing all the knowledge and experience he could possibly shard with me.
After that, I asked Grant to help me with my singing, hence the image attached, a routine he encouraged me to practice.
Grant enjoyed the various citrus marmalades I made and was the only reliable returner of empty and clean jars! :-)
Grant, our relationship was short but rich and, I like to think, equally reciprocal.
Rest thee, Grant, in full knowledge that you have enriched others' lives, like mine. Thank you, Michael Grant. xx

Dear Granty you were a man of huge talent. A great actor and singer, writer and director, mercurial commander of the stage. I will treasure the recordings we made together and the magic holidays we had in Fiji. Go my friend. Tread softly the leaves of all our undisturbed memories. Great is our love and great is our sorrow.

Grant's life and that of our family intertwined in lots of interesting and fruitful ways over the years, from theatrical to spiritual adventures, and all sorts in between.
Grant lived life colourfully, creatively and dramatically and had a very strong commitment to social justice and care for the environment.
He was also generous with his time and what he had, and cared deeply for his friends. We'll miss you Grant, go well in your next production. xx

Grant Bridger. Lots of wonderful memories of a thinking person and a peace activist, who contributed an extraordinary amount of love to Aotearoa arts, music and culture. We cherish all those special moments we had together. Peter & Lorraine (Nambassa)
