Grahame, it's been a week since I heard about you passing away, and I am still finding it very hard to believe. That someone so alive, so vibrant, so magical, and still so young, suddenly is gone. The injustice of it cries out, for you and for the world.
For myself, I will miss you deeply. I am already missing you even though in normal circumstances I probably wouldn't have seen you for many months or longer. I am sorry I didn't make it to your funeral in Adelaide, I should have been there.
Thank you for everything you have done, for showing me and so many others how we all should live.
Jenny, I am so sorry, please accept my deepest condolences.

To a great guy. So sad to hear of your passing. Great memories of all the fun and passion we all had in the Mobilefone SA days, taking Vodafone form ground floor up and up in Adelaide. Your passion and energy surpassed so many obstacles and you always share your knowledge. Cheers from Graham and Barry Potiphar. RIP and sincere condolences to your family.

You were a guiding star in the universe to everyone whose life you touched... but the biggest and brightest stars are the first to burn out.

MAHER, Grahame Kenneth. 7 July 1959 to 2 November 2010. It is with great shock and extreme sadness that we learned of Grahame Maher's passing this week. Grahame made a difference to the lives of everyone he touched. He was a great CEO, coach, mentor and friend. We will all sorely miss his inspiration and vision, his passion and energy, and his love for all the people he worked with. A Memorial Service to celebrate Grahame's life will be held on the ground floor at Vodafone V nue, 20 Viaduct Harbour Avenue, at 4pm on Wednesday, 10 November, 2010. The Vodafone Family would like to invite those who knew him to share in our tribute to this truly inspirational leader and vibrant, charismatic man that we were lucky enough to know and work with. It may have been for only a short time, but the impact of Grahame's influence is huge and will live on for many years to come. Vodafone New Zealand extends its heartfelt and sincere condolences to Grahame's family and colleagues and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Vodafone Qatar Foundation. Please contact [email protected] for further details.
