Graham RICKARDS Obituary

RICKARDS, Graham William. (Service No. H24410, Able Seaman, RNZN). 5 October 1965 - 4 July 2017. After a long courageous battle with cancer (the robber); aged 51 years. Gone too soon. Beloved husband and soul mate of Sandy (nee Smythe) (Turua). Cherished son of Russell and Margaret Rickards (Hamilton). Dearly loved father of Shivana-Maree and Andrew Gordon, Morgan and Jason Ridgway, Lisa and Matt Prince and Kellie. Proud Grumps/Poppa of Baiden, Riley, Blake and Emalyn and pending arrival of another loved grandchild in December. Loved brother and brother-in- law of Wayne and Leah, Gary and Bobbi, Trina and Ron, Shelley and James, Gary and Catherine (Aussie), Rod and Jo, and adored uncle of his many nieces and nephews. Graham is at home (15 Raratuna Street, Turua) for anyone who wishes to visit. 'We love you dearly Graham and you will be missed by all your family and friends.' A celebration of Graham's life will be held at St George The Martyr Anglican Church, Mackay Street, Thames, on Saturday 8th July, at 2pm, followed by private cremation.
