Graham MOORE Obituary

MOORE, Graham Richard. Born July 24, 1948. Passed away on April 26, 2021. Graham Richard Moore finally left the world aged 72 , after a life with many health issues. He survived them (up till now anyway) despite the efforts of the medical industry whom he concluded were more likely to kill him. He thought they finally did. He went to work for NZPost/Telecom before even leaving school until he was made redundant, at which point he realised he enjoyed plumbing far more, if he liked the customer and could be bothered that day. He liked beer, gardening, fixing things , messing about in the shed and telling long rambling stories - taking forever to get to the point . He leaves his wife Helen; his son Graham whom he thought was the best thing ever ; his favourite grand-daughter Katarina; numerous siblings and a lot of things in the shed, some of which he couldn't identify but were nonetheless apparently extremely important. There isn't a service. He expects people to have a beer, and do something useful instead.

Haere Ra my friend,

- you were a great man and I always enjoyed catching up with you and Helen over the years, thanks for putting up with our antics as teenagers & always making us laugh, even if we didn't get the point of the story we'd still be invested into the yarn.

I'll be having a few beers for you this afternoon GM, see you when i get there.
Thanks for the memories mate. Rest easy.

Graham did some plumbing for me. "I hate water," he confessed as he struggled with a particularly recalcitrant leak. But he found it anyway, and he fixed it.

I'll drink a beer with him tonight.

Rest in Peace Graham.
I do feel compelled to have a beer for him. He gave me a lot of laughs.

I may even do something useful; like sitting down. I find that very useful these days!!!!!!

Hello from a sunburnt land,
RIP Graham
Now that is what I call a Eulogy, a real beauty, good on him. Yeah, you certainly had a lot of life in you.

Just might settle down on the back deck before dinner, hit the booze fridge, and have a beer for you.
