FOSTER, Graham Thomas. (of Carterton, formerly Auckland). On 24th July 2022 after a short illness. Aged 76 years. Loved partner of Jane Minchin. Loved step-father and father- in-law of Chris and Brooke, Mark and Fiona, and Alex. Dearly loved Koro of Charlie, Billie; James and Joshua. Dear friend of Helen and boys. This is my tribute to an awesome person. My heartfelt condolences are with all Grahams Family.
As we age, we lose friends, colleagues and those we care about, sometimes it seems as though there are so few of our age and era left. That is how I am feeling. A loved friend, colleague and mentor, Graham Foster, passed away on Saturday last. Graham had been unwell for a several years before he moved to Carterton to be with family. Though he was unwell Graham still gave advice and support to those who asked. Graham was a gentle man, calm, positive, and genuine in all he did. Everyone mattered. When he left Auckland he was so missed, and there will be many who are just learning that he has passed who will miss him too.
Fly high Graham. We miss you.
