Dear Yvonne and family, Graham was my teacher in Standard 3 at Murrays Bay Primary in 1966. Jim was in the class too. I remember 'Sir' with such respect and affection. He introduced me to gymnastics, and I still coach it at the South Auckland school where I teach. He taught me the names of many native trees and I'm a committed gardener and conservationist now. Finally he taught Literacy subjects in a formal and structured way, an approach I strongly support. Yvonne, you may not remember but you came to our place at the top of Kowhai Rd at the end of the school year and we gave you a chicken for Christmas!
Rest in peace, Graham. You leave a wonderful legacy.
Sincerely, Angela Redwood (Bold)
