We have just seen that Graeme has passed. So we want to share our first experience of the man. About 30 years ago on a weekend away at a NZ caravan/camp site we were sitting around an open fire, the kids fed and happy were running around us while the adults sang to the strumming of Kevin's guitar and up walks this handsome smiling man with a coffee in hand. "Do you mind if I sit down?" he said in that deep vocal tone we all love about him. "Sure" we replied offering him a beer...but he turned it down and sat. We kept singing and he joined in...Wow! we were blown away by his amazing talent and his humility. What a great night...it was awesome to meet him and Linda and then to go on to sing with such a gentleman over the ensuing years. We have always talked about that first night and we will never forget him.

Graeme, you will always be remembered as a true gentleman of country music. I have sung along side you for over 20 years and the thought of you 'surprisingly' popping up on stage to sing the Auctioneer together will always leave me with fond memories. You will be sadly missed.
