Graeme ERIKSEN Obituary

ERIKSEN, Graeme Peter. Passed away in Gisborne on Friday, 13th February 2026, aged 78 years. Beloved husband of Sarah. Much-loved father and father- in-law of Simon and Vicki, William and Pip, and Timothy and Meg. Adored grandfather to his 9 grandchildren. Graeme's funeral service will be held at the Bushmere Arms, Waerenga-A-Hika, Gisborne, on Wednesday, 18th February at 2pm, followed by private cremation. Dearest Eriksen whanau. What deep sorrow and loss you must all be feeling. I am so sorry you have lost a wonderful husband, dad and grandad. The memories of our times with Graeme when we lived in Tahunga are of laughter and Bruce Springsteen dancing. My thoughts are with you all Xx

I was so sorry to get this news. Graeme was the perfect gentleman. Growing up, Chris and Graeme were what I considered to be the epitome of old-school masculinity and charm. Like the "James Bonds" of Gisborne. It´s clearly an Eriksen family trait. I´m really sorry for your loss everyone. Thinking of you all xx
