I cared greatly for Graeme as his Nurse and friend. His kindness and humour will long be remembered.

Dear Matthew, Rebecca, Tye, Denise, Steve and Family,
Myself and Brenda are So Sorry for your loss of Graeme and have been thinking of you all a lot and know how much you will miss him.
It is an honour to have known Graeme over the years that we got to know each other through our business connection. Between Hermpac and WFP we were able to launch a fiber supply that was tailored to his vision of high quality western red cedar for the New Zealand market. Graeme's vision of recovery and production created a long lasting legacy. I remember producing a million board feet of WRC for his operation as he wanted to import that volume on his 65th birthday year. In 2015 we spent 4 days on logging tours on Vancouver Island, fishing off Tofino and sharing stories with a remarkable gentleman surrounded with his son Matthew, his partner Mark, and Kyle and Russ. Along with WRC there was also an ample supply of sockeye salmon; Graeme's lasting favorite. A memory not to be forgotten. I am So Grateful to have been invited to Hermpac's 50th Anniversary and spend some time at Graeme and Denise's house with his family as he always made me feel right at home with comfort and joke, just like his son Matthew! A tremendous man and I am so glad to have him pass through my life! I will remember Graeme often; never a loss for words particularly when it came to politics. Our best to the entire Carter family in memory of Graeme from both Brenda and I. In Loving memory of Graeme, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely Dale
