NICK JOHN CARRAVETTA With deep sadness we announce the passing of Nick John Carravetta in his 90th year on Monday, September 26, 2016. Nick was the loving son of his late parents Gaetano and Teresina Carravetta from Calabria, Italy. Predeceased by sisters Valentina (DiGiovanni), Savina (Hardy) and Rita (Hutcheon). Loving brother of Nina Betson. Beloved father of Theresa (John), Michael, Diana (Ron) and grandfather of Nicole (Paul), Grant, Nicholas and Lucas. Nick was a strong willed man and courageous right to the end. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston, on Sunday, October 2, 2016 from 2-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road, Etobicoke, on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. Private family entombment to follow. Uncle Nick
He will be missed by so many people.
I will always remember his support when my mom passed and the kindness he showed to my brother and myself.
I will miss our times at the BBQ and special dinner and luncheons. I raise a glass of Wine to my Uncle.
