Shocked and saddened about Gordon's passing. He was a fantastic mentor who always kept his sense of humour, and taught me so much during my time at Otago Hospital. He was also an excellent dancer at events! You shall be missed, Gordon.

Still in a state of disbelief over Gordon's passing, our hearts are heavy. He was one of the best humans we had ever known and we are so sorry that his time was cut short. Gordon gave new meaning to the notion of "a life well lived" and his love and good work will be felt by so many, for so long.
We extend condolences to his family as we especially wrap our arms around Suzanne as she navigates the days ahead.

Dear Suzanne. Words can not express the sympathy I feel in hearing this shocking news. I am sending light and love to you and your family through this time. You have been hugly influencial to my journey and my dance career, and of course your strength and passion have been supported and upheld by your partner Gordan. We are all connected; even now.

A tragic loss for everyone in the eye fraternity. Farewell Gordon... I remember your great sense of humour, humble and unflustered teaching style, supportive nature, and public speaking prowess! It was a privilege and I will always treasure having worked with you.

I worked with Gordon for 15 years in the eighties. I knew him well as a consummate professional and a great fun guy socially. I include a favorite photo of him at a wild department fancy dress party around 1982. He was a very kind person and I am so shocked.

Gordon had a very special place in my life, and heart. Now he is gone, and the silence is deafening.
This unexpected end hurts me so much. There is a huge gap and void. I doubt that it can ever be filled.
May peace be upon you, Gordon. Salem.
