Gordon MILLER Obituary

MILLER, Gordon. Born June 6, 1927. 5th March 2020 - Gordon at the age of 92 sailed into the horizon. He did it his way right to the end. Loving husband of Phyllis, Father to Adrienne, Fiona and Peter. Cherished Grandfather to Cairo, Shannon and Jason, Great Grandfather to Iridani. A celebration of this life will be held at a later date.

I have nothing but admiration for Gordon. Though my time with him was Just a drop in his bucket, he and Phillis gave me a life time of memories. I am forever grateful to God for my time spent on the water with Gordon. Rest in peace my friend. (Newport Beach, CA to Fort Lauderdale FL 05/1982 to 07/1982) Joe McCarthy

Aged 92. Younger brother of Bill and the late Jean Heywood. Gordon was a multi-talented person being top class in many fields, including music, cross country running, farming, boat building and offshore navigation. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him for his cheerful and humorous personality.

A real part of the fabric of our life and childhood memories and a man who was so special to our family as part of the detail and essence of what makes life worth while ....An abiding enduring friendship of a lovely humble man

Uncle Gordon life was a lifetime of quiet achievement.

Right through Dads long illness Uncle Gordon was always there a constant friend and blessing to Dad and our lifes ...

Dad said from time to time of certain people 'they should be allowed to live for ever'

I know this was true of Uncle Gordon and Dad.

From Boy Scouts together to their first Job together to elderly and gracious Gentlemen it was never long enough but always as good as it got ..
