Gordon GRIGOR Obituary

GRIGOR, Gordon William. The family would like to advise that Gordon passed away peacefully on 26th January 2026 with his sister by his side. Gordon was 67 yrs old and the much loved only brother of Mary, beloved son of Jackie and adored uncle of Lauren and Samuel. He was a supremely kind and clever man and he died after an 18 month battle with cancer. He fought hard, rarely complained and felt there were always people worse off than him. Our thanks to the ACH Oncology team for all their support, the care of the staff at CHT St John's and those at West Auckland and Mercy Hospice services, especially their volunteers whose kindness to us all was extraordinary. In lieu of flowers, we request any donations in memory of Gordie be made to either of these Hospice.
