Peter TOHILL Obituary

TOHILL, Peter John. Reg. T715846 Major RNZ Army. On October 30th 2025, his 87th birthday, in Auckland surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Rose and father of Micheal, Catherine, Maria, Joanna and Matthew. Grandfather of Angus, Jacob, Bridget, Samuel, Jack, Sophie, Matthew, Hamish, Kate, Amy, Molly and Max. Father in law to Lloyd and Ross. Requiem Mass will be held at St Joseph's Church, entrance 10 Dominion Street, Takapuna at 11am on Tuesday the 4th of November. The family wish to acknowledge all the staff at Lady Alum Retirement Village and CHT Beachhaven Care Home for the wonderful care they gave Peter over the past two years. A true gentleman who will be sorely missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I remember Peter all the way back from Singapore days and since, as a lovely gentle man. You are such a wonderful family and, Rose such a kind and thoughtful woman. And Maria, it would have been nice to see you today too. You are all very much in my thoughts and prayers. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral today and show my support in person.
