Gordon ADDENBROOKE Obituary

ADDENBROOKE, Gordon St. Vincent. Passed away peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital, on Friday 24 July, 2015, in his 95th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Laurie. Dearly loved Dad of Rex and Alyson, Peter and Vanessa, Trevor and Neeta. Dearly loved Grandad of his grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A celebration of Gordon's life will be held in the Chapel of W. Abraham, 366 Devon Street East, New Plymouth, on Tuesday 28 July at 10:30am. Private cremation to follow. Sorry to learn of Gordens death. Have fond memories of Climie Road - our family were his neighbours for many many years. As kids we had a lot to do with family and he always encouraged us with tennis and badminton. Also he always took us to the midget car racing at NP. The passing away of Gordon is the final end of a era in the the Ngaere district during the 1930's to the late 1960's. Thinking of you all at this sad time. RIP Regards Graeme & Bertha Rowe Whangarei.
