Glyn JENKINS Obituary

JENKINS, Glyn Crawford Morse. Passed away peacefully on Sunday 12 January 2014, at home with his loving family at his bedside, aged 82. Treasured and loving husband of Kathy, for almost 60 years. Dearly loved father of Jan (Sydney) and Brett (Auckland). Father-in-law of Terry and Kim. Adored Grandpa of Laura-Leigh, Isabella and James (Sydney) and Troy and Ben (Auckland). Loved and remembered always, Glyn will hold a special place in our hearts. A service to celebrate Glyn's life will be held in All Saints Anglican Church, Selwyn Road, Howick on Monday, 20th of January at 11.30 am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Totara Hospice South Auckland, PO Box 75560, Manurewa, Auckland 2243, or may be left at the service. JENKINS, Glyn Crawford Morse. Slipped away quietly on Sunday 12th January 2014 at his home in The Gardens Manurewa. Esteemed brother-in-law of Heather Murdoch-Hall, uncle of Debra and Tony Graham (Karapiro), Robyn Newman-Hall (The Gardens Manurewa), Wayne and Stacey Hall, and Grant and Jan Hall (all New Plymouth). Grand uncle of Fraser, Meredith and Chelsea Graham, Olivia and Thomas Newman, Max and James Hall, and Bradley Kirk-Hall. Glyn, a keen and very capable all-round sportsman who has finally left the crease after scoring a resounding 82. The end of a very well played innings. 'Now at rest'.
